Last visit from the evil monster!

My last period ever started yesterday (several days early I might add, the old hag). I have my surgery in 16 days. I am so completly ready to be done with the clots, the bleeding, the pain so bad that I wake up in the middle of the night throwing up. I'm gonna have a party, I swear!

It needs a farewell party! Mine showed up the night before my surgery. I hear ya! Good riddance to the excruciating agony :-) All the best to you with your upcoming surgery. Warm hugs.

I totally agree, my last cycle was on the 26th of January, I change pads every two hours and sometimes I changed with 10 minutes of putting on a new one. I am so excited to have no more cycles, no more heavy nights, no more pain, and no more having a tampon on with a pad and still bleeding through....I can finally wear light pants when ever I want!

Totally agree! Once I feel better I'm having a tampon and pad bonfire!!

Goodluck on your surgery. I definately do not miss overnight pad plus a depends diaper and still leaking every 30 minutes. Its almost too good to be true to not have it anymore.

Amen! I just finished my last one a couple of days ago! Now just counting down the days. Only 12 to go!

There's just been a lot healthwise going on in my family. My surgery, my daughters craptastic eye site, and my son being diagnosed with Graves Disease last month. He had an allergic reaction to his medication Monday so now it's testing testing testing and trying to cram it all in before surgery in 15 days

My witch showed up a week early also. I was due on Valentine's Day (tomorrow) but she showed on 2/6. I was so happy to have inserted my last tampon a few days ago

I was just thinking today, 8 days after my surgery that I will never bleed again! It seems surreal but yet so liberating. I had heavy, hemorrhage like flows for years and was bleeding at some level everyday for 10 months prior to my LSH (I had fibroids) and then while I was waiting to go into the OR guess who showed up in full gusher force?! Yep. After surgery when I saw my Doc he said that I bled heavy on the table and that it was "her last hurrah"!! Look forward to your freedom....it makes the surgery well worth it!
