Ewwwwwww!

I had a total pelvic exenteration in July for my persistent cancer. I had to have pelvic and abdominal reconstruction. One thing I got was a new belly button (because they had to remove part of the abdomen to rebuild my vagina)

Anyway, all these months I've had drainage from the new belly button. It has finally slowed down and I can see "inside" my inny belly button. I've noticed a small hole own in there. YUCK! And yesterday a piece of hard and something strange looking came out. I'm guessing this is just more internal stitichin. Anyone else experience this? I just find all this very strange and yucky, especially the little hole area (I've began to pack that with some Astrocel and it is helping). I go back for more vaginal reconstruction on the 18th because the original reconstruction didn't take due to the area used was in the field of my radiation treatments. This time they will be taking from my thighs and should have better luck since that area was not in the line of fire of radiation.
