dVH/RALH BM not normal, 4 days after DaVinci Hysterectomy

I'm still not having a normal solid stool but rather divided pretzel stick like stools. Is this normal?:

its prob from the stool softeners they gave you in the hospital and just from the surgery I didn't have a BM for 7 days after my DvH and let me say I was miserable and I was shocked to see it was not a norm hard bm that I am used to with IBS with Constipation it was soft and straw like...it lasted for a couple days now I am back to the norm hard bm's I was having before sadly I would give it a few more days and see what happens.

I am one week post-op (also DaVinci) and my BMs are not normal yet either. It's probably not uncommon, but if you are concerned, why not ask your doc or nurse? I'm sure she/he would be happy to answer your question and set your mind at ease.
