How long before internal stitches disolve?

Just out of curiosity, does any of the sister`s here know how long internal stitches take to dissolve? With TAH.

From other posts i gather it canstake up to 3 months before they all dissolve.

TAH/BSO 2/01/05 due to large cantaloupe size tumor, only 10days notice of surgery, talk about a life change, It was benign PTL!

Do you know what the snail said who caught a ride on the turtle?
Wheeee! Look how fast I'm going!!!

I cant quite figure that one out. I passed a neat little stitch without any blood just 10 days after surgery....I guess passing them means they are done with thier job. I also know I have roughly 20 stitches in there, so maybe that was a renegade.

I will stay tuned to hear what others think.
