shocking pain during sex

I am sort of shy about talking on a forum about this, but I don't know who to turn to until I call my doctor.

My husband and I were just beginning to have sex and I experienced the most shocking pain I have ever felt. It felt like it wasn't him, but a sharp knife. Up until now I have never had any pains or complications with my post-op hyster. I was so scared last night that I could not sleep, I found this site and joined. I am hoping I can hear some thoughts or similar experiences. The pain was followed up with a foul odor. Would a yeast infection cause this pain too? Would it be something else wrong with my scar? We tried everything to help with the pain during sex, but no matter how far or shallow he penetrated, it still hurt like you would not believe.

I am calling my doctor on Monday, but I need some advice now please. Before I go nuts. *HUGS* Thank you.

Please dont be shy here we have all been there done that!
I have adhesions so sex for me is very painful so I understand. Hopefully by now you have reached your dr.
and maybe know whats going on. I dont believe that a simple yeast infection would cause knife stabbing pain. Dont be shy with the dr either be open and honest if they are a good dr they will care enough to help you. Please let me know if you do not feel you gotten an answer to suit you or if you continue to have problems. I've been on a long journey with this for years and maybe can help. If not help just encourage! Im glad you have joined us.
