Back to work tomorrow - earlier than expected

I was planning to take the rest of the week off work and go back on Monday, but I've just had a phone call to say our manager has resigned and the place is in an uproar, so I am going back tomorrow to try to pick up the pieces.

The thing I am most concerned about is having to wear comfy clothes, it's quite a corporate environment. I will probably wear my normal top half, but with dark coloured stretch pants, and flats (shock.. horror, I always wear heels to work).

You might find that you prefer the flats to heels anyway. I just started wearing ballet flats this summer and I love them!!

I am sorry to hear that you have to go back so soon. Take it easy and don't push yourself. I am headed back on Monday, if all goes well with my sonogram today, which I am sure it will and tomorrow's final doctor appointment, week 5 post op.

Sorry to hear you have to go back to work earlier than expected! I agree with Stephannie, ballet flats are the way to go. I'm the pointy toed three inch heel kinda woman and looking at them in the closet makes me cringe!

Well the workplace is a complete mess, but physically it went really well. I took it easy and pretty much sat at my desk all day but it wasn't really uncomfortable at all thanks to very supportive underwear.

Now I am laying down and 'resting' while DH makes dinner.

Oh and the heels are definitely making a comeback asap.
