Spiritude

I have been enjoying the positive energy generated at this site for several months. My surgery (SAH) is scheduled for Thursday 11/14. I feel so ready thanks to all of you for your open candid sharing of your feelings and experiences.

I want to share with you the word SPIRITUDE, in hopes it will lift some of you up as it has lifted me! It was coined by a friend as he faced a huge life challenge.

"When Faith is chosen over Fear, and the wonderful and positive feelings gained from Faith, from Self-belief, from Spirit, are combined with a Positive Attitude, the result is SPIRITUDE....." William Hoyt Jr.

Thanks to all the great hyster sisters that have helped me maintain SPIRITUDE!!!!

What a wonderful word and it is very uplifting in its meaning. This is a great site and I have enjoyed it for months now. Just wish that I would have found it before my surgery.

My prayers will be with you on Thursday and I know things will go well and you will get your crown and become a Lady-not-in-waiting any longer.
