3 days post hysterectomy: Bruising appearing

I have lower pelvic bruising that seems to be getting darker each day. My assumption is that this is normal? I have moments through the day with little soreness but then at end of day gets worse.

Re: Bruising appearing

In wouldn't worry about it. I have some of that as well that didn't show up right away. I also had knee surgery a few years ago and the blood pooled down in my ankle hahaha it was black and blue.

Re: 3 days post hysterectomy: Bruising appearing

As the day progresses & youre more active, thats when you're more inclined to notice more swelling, aches & pains. Try to pace yourself thru the day w say some walking, then rest, then repeat thru the day. If too much pain, then just rest.. Bruising occurs areas where surgery performed & where placed surgical instruments. Anytime you notice increase in symptoms, then just put a call into your Dr.
