Blah!!!!!

Anyone else totally blah while waiting for their date??? I have 2 weeks to go and I don't want to do anything. I don't feel like talking on the phone, doing e-mail and of course don't want to cook and clean. I am not "stressed" yet obsessing a bit. All I do get done is the bare minimum around the house and things related to going to the castle. It's not because I feel badly, my symptoms are only during my cycles, I just have the blahs. I want to nap all the time so as just not to deal with things. I need to snap out of it.

Blah!!!!!

Wow, you said it exactly. I feel the same way, just Blah!! Today, I went back to bed after my hubby and daughter left at 7:30am. Woke up at 10:00am and laid around until 1:00pm. Finally got dressed in time to leave at 2:30pm to pick my daughter up from school. Here it is evening and I am ready to go to bed. It is only 8:15pm. What's up with this. I too do not feel like I am depressed, just have to blahs!

Blah!!!!!

This is really weird! I feel the same way. I hung around the house all day today cause I thought they were gonna call to schedule my surgery date. Finally got thru to someone late in the day and found out that the 2 girls who do scheduling were out today so now I have to wait til Monday.

Anyway, I felt the same way as you two. I just had the blahs, and didn't feel like doing anything at all. Hope it doesn't stay this way clear up til the surgery.

Blah!!!!!

I think there's just so much to deal with, you don't want to do any of it. I know I couldn't prioritize anything, because they all seemed at the same level of importance. Ending up not doing some stuff, but now after surgery it wasn't really that important to begin with. I don't regret not vacumming the floors or cleaning the cupboards. I do wish I would have done all my laundry, I'm out of baggy pants.

Blah!!!!!

I have been feeling exactly the same way, and while I am sorry that we are all feeling this way, I am glad to know I am not alone! I think part of it may be that I have suffered with pain and bleeding problems for so long, maybe I am just so worn out. Also I know that the winter weather is a factor in my not wanting to do things, but this is the worst I have ever been. I am doing the bare minimum with job and home duties, thankfully my family is great and my SO helps out a lot around the house. I am just so looking forward to later after my recovery, hoping I am one of those women who feels 100% better and have some energy back!! In the meantime, I am going to do just what I have to until surgery, and then look forward to recovering and actually having an excuse to do nothing!!

Blah!!!!!

I think Wendy is right about the winter weather being part of the problem. I live in Michigan and it hasn't been above 20 degrees in over 3 weeks. Usually it is in the teens or less (not including the wind chill). Hopefully, we can all keep each other company and if anyone has any great ideas, she can share it with the rest of us to help us all get out of our blahhhhs!!!

Blah!!!!!

I think it's the weather. It has been so cold and snowy here for weeks!

Anyway, I don' t feel lazy. But, I've just felt that I just want to enjoy "being where I am" and I don't want to put pressure on myself. I'm not sure if my surgery has anything to do with my new attitude or not, but I like my new attitude. Being a runner and a triathlete, I tend to obsess over what I eat, how hard I work and things like that. I've decided not to sweat some daily chocolate, good wine and a lazy Saturday morning. I've also stopped stressing out about things at work. I just deal what comes my way and know that it's not my life, it's my job.

Whatever brought it on, I like it!

Blah!!!!!

Totally blah!

Still waiting for final answer on surgery or more wait and see. Blah pretty much covers it for me, not really depressed. I don't do much around the house, probably anemic shouldn't my doctor be thinking about doing blood work again to check. I bleed a lot and often and I don't eat red meat. I think I'll call my GP for a quick office visit for some blood work. Quicker and easier to get in.

My work is suffering, I am in sales and I have no energy for drumming up new business. Sales is always a tough grind but when you are not 100% physically and mentally your pay check shrinks, more stress, more blah. Not to mention juggling clients to avoid accidents on the worst heavy bleeding days.

I found a little help from new cd's snappy upbeat music seems to work wonders on my mood. Just got "Tom Jones Remixed" and my teenage daughters made me a couple of cd's. Amazing how much the new music is starting to sound like the late 70's and early 80's.

Got to get moving and get my mind on something else today.

I hope everyone finds something to lift their spirits today.

Blah!!!!!

My blahs are better today because I got my HysterSisters book and wand in the mail today! HA! I am having great fun with the wand. My boys think it is hilarious, dh not so much. LOL I can't wait to read the book tonight by the fire. We have been having a cold but dry winter. It is snowing tonight and that boosts my spirits also. Sorry to all of you who are sick of the cold and snow. Happy weekend.
