How long did the gas pains go on?

LOL. That's a good one! I'm a newlywed and still in the stage where things like this are embarrassing. LOL. It's nice to be able to laugh about it, however much it hurts to laugh.

Thanks. Hopefully, it'll get better soon.

How long did the gas pains go on?

FYI my dr. said you could safely take 8 times the rec. dose of Gas X so feel free to use it liberally! My gas only lasted apprx. 2 weeks. Everybody out there drinking PLENTY of water? I mean LOTs and LOTs? I know that will help. What about fiber? Keeping up on that may help just keep everying moving and then nothing can back up. Hang in there ladies.

gas easing up, now i'm having hotflashes

Thanks for the tip. I think mine is finally easing up. I do drink loads of water. Sometimes I wonder if it's too much, but it's just so hot nowadays outside and I get thirsty easy. Then yesterday, lo and behold, I had a hotflash...or what the nurse called a hotflash. My mom told me that's what it was too, laughing at me! Sheesh.

I'm 34. I had a vaginal laproscopic hysterectomy and got to keep my ovaries, but a rather large cyst was removed from the outside (?) of one of them. They also removed my appendix, but not sure why on that one.

I asked the nurse about it, and was told that even though I still had my ovaries, my hormones were still going to be way out of wack because of the surgery. Good gracious, it feels like someone threw me in an oven with sweats on! Anyone else have this problem?
