Question about TVH and "tilted" uterus

I'm scheduled to have a TVH on December 5 for probable adenomyosis and I had a quick question. I had a LEEP several years ago and when I had my son in 2000, the Dr mentioned scar tissue on the cervix that was causing problems with dilation. I also have a retroverted uterus--which I know normally is not an issue.

My question is whether the retroverted uterus or scar tissue might cause problems with the TVH? Anyone have any experience?

I had an anteverted uterus and a tvh with no complications. I also had a LEEP but to my knowledge this had not created any scar tissue. This is a good question to ask your doc.

I'm scheduled to have a TVH on November 15th and I have a tilted (really, really tilted) uterus. I was concerned that with it being tilted it would cause some problems but my doctor assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. Best wishes to you for a successful surgery and problem free recovery!

I had a really tilted uterus so bad that my dr. couldn't feel it about 10 years ago. It didn't even come up as an issue at my pre-op and I had a TVH and everything went just fine.
