VERY emotional day

Ladies, I just need to "talk". I have tried getting into the chat rooms to no avail.

Anyhow, today was a very emotional day. Actually, this week has been very emotional. I started my last monster (.) yesterday before surgery next month. PMS has been VERY bad this month. GRRRRR!!!!!! BOOHOO!!! These describe my emotions.
Anyhow, tonight I was supposed to go out with the girls. My husband was supposed to come home and watch the kids. He forgot about it---and I know he sincerely did----and worked over an extra hour. But, I really needed this night out. And I couldn't find anyone else to watch kids on that short of notice. And it was not a situation that I could have just hooked up with them when he came home. We were to meet one place and then go from there. Ok, so it wasn't really any big deal. But when he came home I just broke down and cried and cried and cried. I have said before in other posts that I am not a crier. He even said that he never remembers me crying like that other than two other occasions in the twelve yrs. we have been married, and these were worth crying about. This was not. But, I just felt I needed some time with other adult women. And this (.) is extremely heavy, so don't know if I could have had a good time anyway.
Why such strong emotions???? What's up with that?????

VERY emotional day

Coach,

So sorry to hear you had such a trying day! You probably have a lot going on right now with the surgery next month and having to deal with another monster (.). Your hormones might be a little out of wack too. I thoroughly understand needing a night out to take your mind off things for a while. The crying is a symptom that you're emotions are on overload and is perfectly normal as a LIW. Glad you vented here. It's really helped me in the past. Hope you have another chance to get out with the girls and have a little fun.

VERY emotional day

And I know exactly how you feel..maybe it is because we are at the one month away mark??? I am scheduled for a TAH/BSO on July 20th..and the other day I came home, and the tiniest thing set me off, and from there, well, I had a good cry like I haven't had in years..one thing lead me to thinking of another, and then another, and well, by the time DH came home, I was a total wreck...all I could do is cry and talk,....he listened, but I honestly think he didn't know what to say!..'cause it was all the usual that I normally go through..(you know- work stress, etc, etc). But I used his shoulder, and I was emotional for about two more days, and then I was fine....I think maybe we get that way, when we start realizing that it is creeping up on us, and we don't REALLY want to go through with it..but I want it over with already!!!I've now had (.) for seven weeks now..and major major cramps, taking tylenol 3...gettin' really tired of it...hope you're feeling better soon....-Chris...
