Constant Bleeding - anyone else?

During the summer I was passing clots the size of potato chips, now it's just very thick red blood, and it's not all day.

I have another ultrasound on Dec 14. I'm 52 years old and per bloodwork I'm not in menopause yet.

I guess I don't really have a specific question. I'm just venting and wondering if anyone experienced anything like this.
Hi, i dont have fibroids that they can tell, but they do suspect endometriosis strongly. My mom, two sisters had it. I have been bleedingsince October 30th. Ultrasound shows extremely thick endometrial lining, my dr was actually slightly impressed. I have surgery January 6th. Dont feel bad venting, i hurt all the time, and am exhausted as well.stay strong

Good Luck on your upcoming procedure! Recovery is a bit of work, but it does fly by. Feels so much better on the other side.

You do not need to be afraid. You have a plan, and have made a decision that should help you a great deal. Not to pass on TMI.. but my clots were very impressive. Scary.. and unpredictable. I didn't have a normal life, and could not plan anything not knowing if I was going to be tied to a bathroom with double tampons and double pads to catch the xtra. Bled thru a lot of clothes.. now I can wear beige and white slacks without fear. Doesn't sound like much, but to me it's a big deal. Stay connected to this site, and all the links and resources. You are not alone, and many many have done this before and are happy to share their knowledge and support.
