I had my surgery LAVH and I have three incisions in my belly and bruising around all 3 of them. The one in my belly button is the worst by far purple all the way down the middle of my tummy and it's pretty tender. But mainly looks gross. Good luck to everyone with recovery.

I have a lot of bruising on my belly and it's quite tender. I'm getting my staples out tomorrow so I'm hoping they'll tell me this bruising is normal.

I didn't have a DvH, but I had a horrible bruise around my incision site for the first week or so which my surgeon said was normal.

I had bruising all across my stomch. I think it's because of the pulling and working through those small incisions. They never bothered me and are almost completely gone now.
