had my pre op today

i had to give blood samples and a pee sample .
then I signed the paper work and got my info about my surgery.

so everything is ready for wednesday
i have to be there at 6:00 am and surgery is at 7:30 am. then i will go to my private room .

i'm so ready to start my healthy bleeding & pain free life.

Did you have to ask for your private room or was that automatic?
I am nervous about that, I have never had to share a room and I don't want to start either.
I was in Nursing for many years...there is nothing semi-private about those rooms.

when i found out that i was having surgery, i went to the hospital to asked about rooms and what i need to do to get a private room .
they told me the best way to get one without having to pay for one extra.
they told me to call the doctor and tell him you wanted / needed a private room and get him to sign you up for one at the hospital
so now that the doctor asked for you to get one the ins pays for it not you ..

so thats what is did .. and got one
