Liquid Diet

Today at lunchtime I start my liquid diet so what else can I eat besides broth and jello? The Doc said I can have anything l can see through. Any suggestions?

My instructions said : you can have clear juices, apple or white grape; popsicles (no sherbet or fruit bars and not red, orange, or purple). No milk products, so coffee and tea without creamer. Sods, not red, orange, or purple. I'm dibetic so it said sugar free drinks like cyrstal light and Prople fitnes water, both no red, orange, or purple. It is important to drink as much fluid as you can throughout the day.
I avoided the stuff without caffeine because I think that is what caused me to have a major headache following my first surgery. The second and third surgeries (third being the TAH) I didn't get a headache, so maybe I was right.

For my liquid diet, all I had all day was apple juice, water and jello. By the end of the day, I was soo sick of jello. If you are not sure what you are allowed to have, call your doctor's office or the hospital so that you don't have something you aren't supposed to.

Hang in there.....if I can do it, you can as well.
