LAVH Day 5 and feeling worse?

I had LAVH on 12/2... outpatient and was home in my own bed within three hours of surgery. I've spent most of my time since surgery in bed sleeping or playing around on my iPad to pass the time. Today I went out for a short walk and now my belly is all swollen and I have major pain up und my ribs. I know I still have gas trapped up there from the lap part of the surgery, but it seems all the sudden to be worse. Also, today is the first day that my incisions have bothered me and now they are really hurting. Two of them feel like huge, deep bruises if that makes any sense. My mind is still a total fog.... From meds, pain, anesthesia? Is anyone else feeling the same? I'm trying not to get discouraged, but it seems like I am taking steps backward. Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks ladies!

yes you are probably still under the fog of anethesia, and if you read the articles under post op you will see that two steps forward one backward are very common. I felt really good my second week and then totally horrible on my 4th week. The short walk could have been too much, listen to your body and rest
