severe gas pains

I had my surgery last Monday and last night severe gas pain and bloating. Thrown up 2x and some relief, but not long. Any suggestions

I am so sorry you aren't feeling well. Have you had a BM yet? Are you running a fever? You could have eaten something that did not agree with you. Anything spicy/gassy may upset your stomach on top of taking pain med. I would definitely call your MD & let them know what is going on. You could be constipated or there could be other things going on. I hope you feel better!

I forgot to ask if you have been up walking? Walking as much as you can tolerate will help with the gas pains. What is concerning is your vomiting. I had awful gas pains my 1st week. I couldn't lay on my left side because my shoulder & belly hurt so badly from the gas. I hope you are feeling a little better by now. Update when you feel up to it. Take care.

Bella776 is right, you should definitely call your doctor. Pain and vomiting are not something you need to be dealing with when you are trying to heal from your hysterectomy. You may even have a virus or flu. No matter what the cause, your doc may want to give you something for the nausea and pain.
