Is this pain normal??????

I am about 2 months and some odd days post op and I'm still having some minor achiness. Some days it isn't that bad and some days its sore to the touch. Today its kind of throbbing. Is there someone who is going thru this or has gone thru this?

Is this pain normal??????

I'm 2 months, too, and still have pain from time to time, especially after heavy work or being on my feet for a long time. Not saying it's normal (my friend and fellow hyster-sister insists I should go to the doctor), but hearing others have it, too, makes me less inclined.

cheers.

Is this pain normal??????

It took me about 4 1/2 months before I started to truely feel good again. You have to remember your body has been threw so much and it takes a year to fully heal (sometimes longer). I am almost 9 months out and still have a day here and there when I ache and my belly is still swelly. It does get better, but just remember to still take it easy every now and then.

Is this pain normal??????

It takes a long time before you are completely healed from a hyst. So yes, you can experience pains, achiness, moodiness, for quite some time. But, if your pain is increasing, it is a good idea to call your dr. The best assurance that all is well should come from a medical professional as there are complications that arise that can mimick other symptoms.

Best wishes to you!

Is this pain normal??????

I called my Dr about my minor pains and she said that that was normal and to be expected. I did allow myself to do nothing all day, and stay in the bed and rest. I think that helped along with the pain meds that she prescribed. Thank you everyone who replied to my post. You helped me out alot.
