Recovering alone 4 weeks post hysterectomy (TAH)

Hello to all
So grateful for this site !! What a blessing!
I had a Tah kept ovaries ...I have had no problems ..still a little sore but doing well..however I was so anemic for 10 years I always had dark circles under my eyes and hair loss..iam wondering now that my dr has told me iam no longer anemic...How long till I see a change in skin and hair and whats recommended to use to help coconut oil?

Glad you have had such a great recovery, it's nice to hear positive stories from other sisters. Coconut oil can't hurt, try it, I heard over the counter pre natal vitamins do wonders for your hair and skin. I think you can get them at the vitamin shoppe.

Thankyou! And yes I do take vitamins but I think because of how anemic I was it really caused the problem...maybe now in couple months as my body realizes it can keep the nutrients and not the huge fibroid my over all health will improve thanku for responding

I had the DaVinci hysterectomy taking everything except the left ovary.

Ok..iam new to the site..trying to find my way lol..did you lose weight with after your surgery? I lost about 10 pounds hoping it stay off! Lol

Well from pre op to the surgery day I had lost about 8lbs. But honestly I don't own a scale, so I really couldn't tell you. I have always been an the small side so actually it would be ok if I gained a few.

Oh ok iam not big
But iam not small...I want to lose more as I couldnt before surgery always tired over eating...but iam only 4 weeks and I feel great..still tired some....but I feel great .and looking forward to a new me
