well, finally got my date....

FINALLY

I go in for my surgury on 10-20-03

punctured princess status, here i come... LOL

went to dr today, and talked to her about some experiences that i had earlier this month when i got tossed into the hospital for asthma/bronchitis/AND the flu.. spent 8 days in the hospital from hades!.. never again will i go to that hospital


and thank goodness my surgury hospital is so much better!, my doc is going to try and get me into a private room so hubby can stay with me and assist me. she is sending me home with a nurse and is going to be putting in a central iv line so that i wont have to go through the agony of blowing iv's because my veins are so fragile... i went through over 15 in 8 days earlier this month.

she is also going to make sure that i have all my meds that i normally take ordered so that i can take them without too much of a disruption. (last hospital i had to fight for my meds)

all i have to do now is my pre op and getting primary care drs ok.

np there.

im sure ill be asking a ton of questions now. but i know that they will be answered in full!

It sounds like everything is well under control.
Your doctor seems to be taking very good care of you! That's really good to hear.

Now, just sit back and try to relax these last few days.

Good luck with everything from here on out! This is the best place to come when you think of a question that you need an answer for from someone who has been there (unfortunately our drs don't know all the answers to the personal experience side of all this unless they happen to be female and hyst patients themselves) I know I had loads of help from this great site.
