ablation on July 13 - nervous

i go for an ablation on July 13 2012. i am nervous. i dont seem to have any other issues no fibroids, no cysts, no polyps. I have irregular uterine bleeding usually when my boyfriend and i have intercourse. i am 39 doctor said this would be good option i just hope it helps.
