All dressed up with someplace to go!

Hey girls... I'm going OUT tonight! OUT to a fundraiser for a local agency and I'm wearing a pair of (stretch) dress pants with a long flowing sweater (that I can unbutton pants while sitting at the dinner table if necessary without being seen)...

(Gonna have a Christmas dessert and see the author of "The Shack" book... WP Young at a church fundraiser)

Question, this is the first time I'm wearing heels for any length of time since surgery... I'm wondering if I should go ahead and feel funky and fab while expecting to be more tired?... or go with flats and be more comfy?

Oh, FOO! I think I just answered my own question... They are such cute little shoes... They look like keds lace up high ankle basketball sneakers but with a nice chunky heal and a zipper up the inside.

I'm goin' for funky and fab! How far out from surgery was your first "dress up to go out" evening, and what was it like for you???

You might want to toss in your comfy flats, just in case. It would be a shame to have to head home early due to funky and fab shoes.

Have fun!

My first dress up night was 5.5 months post op. I had a little ache the next day (but only a couple of times). I figure it was the shift in the center of gravity because of my heels.
