Gas at 3 weeks post op-HELP PLEASE

Hello to all. I have been getting gas so bad lately that it hurts to breathe. I eventually pass it but during the time when I'm "Gassed up" the pain is horrible. It's hard to get comfortable and it takes sometimes up to 2-3 hours to pass it all. I've been taking Gas-Ex and it seems to help but it's painful. Anything carbonated makes it worse, it's not constant, but almost every night this week it's been that way. And I haven't had a decent BM lately. I've been going #2 but only a little at a time a few times a day. My mom said it's from the gas they blow you up with. Is anyone else having the same problem? Any hints or advice? And will this go away eventually? Please help!! Any tips and advice are appreciated.
Please help!!

Other than that I'm doing well. My doctor left an incision in my belly button but said that it will dissolve on it's own. But doing good, able to drive, still get back aches every so often.

Thanks to all in advance!

Re: Gas at 3 weeks post op-HELP PLEASE

Sounds like LOTS of people have this and it is awful. My gyno suggested CALM from the health food store, it's kinda expensive but does seem to be helping. Also I keep hearing to WALK.
