6 weeks post op 12/05/12

I am 6 weeks post op and it has not been very fun! All three of my incisions have cellulitus in them, and now I am having a vaginal discharge, my surgeon/GYN will not see me. they keep telling me to put peroxide on them.....ugh

Sorry to hear that things aren't going well. Have you thought about going to see your general practice doctor? Are you scheduled for any other followup visits with your gyn??

Re: 6 weeks post op 12/05/12

Thank you, yes I have talked to my family doctor they started me on an antibiotic but I am afraid the problem is that the stitches are buried and unable to dissolve as the GYN told me and I have called them several times about this and yet they still will not look at me, almost 8 weeks out I would think the incisions would be held, I can see where there is a stitch still in one of them, I just don't know what to do. I'm supposed to feel better after having this done not worse I would think.

Re: 6 weeks post op 12/05/12

Honestly, I would go to the nearest sameday care clinic and be seen by them. Flat out tell them your doc is not taking your concerns seriously and you want it checked.
