strange odor........

I am experiencing this strange odor from my vagina. Its not strong but smells a little. Its not a fishy smell its more like a greasy potato chip smell. I sound dumb I know. I washed again this morning with Summers Eve wash to see if that helps. Could it be that my vagina is getting healed more and back to its regular functions like before?

strange odor........

I had the same thing that lasted about two weeks. My doctor did find a bacteria infection however also stated that the odor is normal with this type of surgery. If it begins smelling fishy then it needs to be looked at asap.

Beware graphic!

Sorry this is a little graphic... hope it helps, my dh told me (one year after surgery) that I tasted like lemons! we have never enjoyed oral sex as he said the taste was bad! not something he told me at the time but since the surgery we tried again, he was shocked and said I tasted as fresh as lemons. My point is that I guess the ph must change or something as I noticed that a bad smell that I had for years finally went away. Hopefully the funk smell disappears! hlb

re: strange odor

I've had the same problem (im almost 4 weeks post op) and it is just now starting to subside although not completely. My doctor told me last week on my post op check up that there will be discharge and odor for 4 to 8 weeks post op. He said that the insides cannot develop a scap like an open wound on the outside can and so your body produces kind of a serum inside where there is surgical trauma and this serum continues to ooze and basically keep everything moist while it heals. Hope this helps!
