stretching 4 1/2 weeks after hysterectomy

I was wondering if stretching was okay I am four and a half weeks in for my surgery and I have fibromyalgia and need to stretch. Have this butterflies in my stomach when I try to stretch sometimes I wonder if It's Gas but I have to stretch it out. I was wondering if anyone else feels this way or is there some type of healing going on that gives me that butterfly urge in my stomach?

Gentle stretching (without weights or resistance) should be fine. I have Fibro too and it's rough sometimes anyways. After a big surgery like this it can make things that much harder and more difficult. Hope you feel better soon.

I don't have fibromyalgia, but I get stiff. I've been stretching my arms, legs, neck, lower back. My tummy muscles are still too painful, but I can stretch the side abdominals. I have a dr appt tomorrow, and exercising and stretching are on my list of questions.
