Headache pain need advice!

I am having a headache like I have have never before. I am on 500 mg hydrocodone. It helps with my pelvic pain but doesn't touch the headache. Any advice? Ice pack hasn't done much good either.

Double check with a pharmacist....but, if my head is killing me and I've already taken hydrocodon I take a couple ibuprofen with it. I know ibuprofen does not always work with everyone but it might help. Just check with your pharmacist first. I believe that headache is also one of the side effects listed on that med. So frustrating...I know. Hope you find some relief soon.

I woke up this AM with headache- Pre menstrual migraine - I took tylenol because I can't take Aleve this close to my surgery date- Probably could but I don't want to take the chance. Tylenol takes the edge off, but won't get rid of it. I can't work on pain meds, so I deal with it and pray 5pm comes quickly.

Try Aleve, or staging your meds. Aleve and your pain killers alternating two hours between the two....

My doctors nurse just called! Hopefully relief is on it's way. Aunt Flow is here for her last visit yahoo! That could be some of it but the nurse said it's also a side effect from the hydrocodone. Okay they just called back they are switching me to darvacet. I sure hope it works!
