sore breasts

Hi Ladies

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm 8 weeks out of surgery, and have been on Climara since that day. I've noticed the last few weeks my breasts have been sore after I took my bra off at night. But recently it's been more noticeable during the day. I started to even wonder if they'd gotten some bigger. I'm not sure about that - I could be just looking more closely because of everything that's been happening! Can anyone relate?

What is the dose of your Climara patch? Sore breasts can be a symptom of your estrogen being too high but it can also signal progesterone levels which are too low. Are you having any other symptoms of high estrogen? Here's a link to a list of symptoms common for too much/too little estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. You might want to print it and check off the symptoms you are having. Also, keep a journal of your symptoms to share with your doctor as you work together to balance your hormones.

My dosage is .1 mg. Thanks for the input and the link. I'm going to check that out right now.

I just thought I would give you a bit of advice that I learned. Caffine will also cause sore breast. I oh course being a pop and coffee drinker didn't believe that when the doc told me. 8 weeks ago I quit all caffine to be my best at surgery time, not only did I lose weight but my breast did stop hurting.
