Discharge at 2 1/2 months post-LSH

I'm 2 1/2 mo. post op and am experiencing discharge. I still have my cervix. Anyone else experience this? If you no longer have your crevix, do you experience this? A friend of mine who had her cervix removed also says she no longer has discharge. I'm just curious. I suppose when she told me she didn't have that anymore, I was thinking I wouldn't either.

I don't have any first hand expereince with discharge since my hyst, but I know that other on the site have. You can search for other posts by using the Google Search at the top right.

I'd also call the - I just believe in calling and asking when I'm not sure.

I also had a LSH. It could be a mini-period. If a Hyster Sister keeps one or both ovaries and the cervix, there can be a chance of a mini-period in post-op. Generally, ladies report needing a pantyliner at that time of the month.

If it is a clear mucus type of discharge...it could be from the cervix. The cervix secretes a clear mucus that helps to lubricate the vagina.

If it continues..to be on the safe side..you might call your Dr.

Yes, it is clearish discharge. and it lasts approx. 5/6 days. I was thinking the cause was my cervix, I didn't realize the cervix secreted mucus to moisten the vagina. oh well, so much for thinking I'd always have "clean" panties

if it lasts a few days, it might be from ovulating. i definitely have an increase when i am (always did).
