Cold flashes
I have begun having cold flashes. They are horrible! Preceded by a tingle and then shivering lasting about 5 minutes. I am 1 week post op LAVH. My doctor said it was rare but that she has heard of them. So far it is my only hormonal symptoms. Please help ⛄

Re: Cold flashes
Lol! I like the snowman! I had horrible cold flashes in the beginning. I would shiver and shake and my teeth would chatter so hard I thought I'd chip one! My poor hubby thought I was having a seizure. I had one in the middle of an upscale restaurant and had to use the linen napkins to cover my legs. It's funny now but not then. It's really just like the hot flashes and all that, they'll settle down! For now, dress in layers in case you get both.

Re: Cold flashes
Lots of women have them after hysterectomy. Apparently your doctor doesn't hang around on Hyster Sisters I had them, and if you keep reading you'll find posts by many more who have too. Sometimes mine would come just before a hot flash or vice versa. Some women don't start having a lot of hormonal symptoms for quite a while. Your body has estrogen stores that have to be depleted first.

Re: Cold flashes
I would get cold flashes several days before I has a migraine attack. A few days after my hysterectomy I had them again with a bad headache. Hoping after the hormones are depleted I will not get anymore.
