Discharge caused by granulation

I had a tvh 11 weeks ago and have been having discharge. I went to see my dr this morning and found that I have a spot that hasn't healed yet. He treated it with silver nitrate. He said that should do the trick and wants to see me back in 4 weeks. I am so glad I called to see how long the discharge should last. Has anyone had to go back for repeat treatments or did the one treatment work for you?

I had the treatment 3 weeks ago and I can tell it's not over. Discharge is still there if not worse. And..I can feel the cuff ache. I was surprised to see so much grey matter after the treament...rather yucky! I go back next Wed and I'm sure I'll have another treatment. But....I believe once usually does it for most.

I have had 2 so far, maybe need a third treatment. I didnt have any discharge, just painful intercourse.

From what I have read on the issue, most need no more than 2, it just depends on the size and severity of the granulation.
