Had my TAH on Thursday morning and had previously been told I wouldn't even be thinking of going anywhere until Sunday, but doc came in Saturday morning and asked if I wanted to go home...YES!!! Will write more later about the whole experience, but it IS true, that the waiting is the hardest part! Everything else has so far been a breeze compared to the nerves beforehand!

Glad your home and feeling positive! I originally thought mine would be out-patient (LSH) but was told I would be in overnight. I was disappointed at first but decided, my surgery is at 1PM, it might not be all bad to be on a pain pump that first night and not have to worry about the dogs when I first get home.
