6 wk f/u and free!!!!!

Well, tonight at 530 was my final appointment. Had the internal, the speculum check, and all systems go!!!! What is the swabbing about on the speculum check, though? DR said everything healed well, no restrictions, told me SEX whenever I am ready, just to take my time and ease back into it as it feels comfortable and if I had any problems or questions, give them a call. The only complaint I had is the night sweats, so considering I kept my ovaries, he is sending me to get blood work for levels to determine if they shut down, or are just in shock to determine how to treat me. I go for that tomorrow morning and he should be in touch by Monday on that issue. But other than that, I am now a free and healthier woman. I appreciate all the good advice and support this site has given me and intend to be in here regularly to offer that same support to all the newbies coming through here, but wanted to say thanks to all my sisters and happy healing to all!!!!! (((Kathy))) - Glad you are healing well! Nice to pass that milestone. I hope your hot flashes are just a temporary thing and that your ovaries will come through for you. Let us know what you find out with your testing and how you manage, ok?
