Frozen shoulder developed AFTER hyster

go see your doctor NOW about getting PT for that shoulder. I haven't been able to put my arm behind my back for almost 3 months now. My PT said that is classic frozen shoulder. If you let it go, it will get to the point where you can't lift your arm at all.

Definitely get a referral for physical therapy. I have been doing my exercises at home and while the movement behind my back has not improved (yet) my ability to lift my arm up over my head has.

Oh my goodness!! I thought I had just slept wrong! My left shoulder started hurting Friday evening after I got home from the castle. It was just a little twinge but by Saturday, after the anesthesia and dilaudid drip had really worn off, it really started to hurt. I tried stretching it and rubbing it but it just HURTS.

I am so glad I saw this post, I thought I was going nuts. Believe it or not, it actually hurts more than my surgery sites. (I had a LAVH which is a lot easier on the body).

I want to say thank you but...yes, thank you and I hope we can all get our arms up to shoulder level soon!
