Tender sore place on my belly after lifting -5 mths post- TAH

Hi all, I'm 5 months post - TAH and I still have my ovaries. I have a new tender place on my belly this week
Last weekend I was babysitting my grand-daughter who is 8 kilos (sorry not sure about lbs but she's 8 months old). We danced a bit wildly, me holding her in my arms - and since then I've had a twingy pain in the same spot on my abdomen - in the numb area above my scar. It's not deep in - feels like I might have damaged the healing tissue, either that silvery muscle covering or the muscle itself. No bulge no hotness or redness - just pain and enough to nurse it at night or not want to lean up against a bench in the kitchen. What do you think? Could it be a hernia this late in the piece? At my 6 week check my specialist said I could do anything at all that I had done before no worries (but my pre-op nurse said I'd always be kind of vulnerable now and should be careful lifting - for how long I asked? Forever she said) Who should I believe?

You may still be healing in that area. I know that I did not feel fully healed for almost a year. I did not lift anything heavy for many months. I think we just have to listen to our body and be careful about lifting heavy things.

I hope you feel better soon, you may have pulled a muscle and now it is tender for a little bit.
