sore/tender breast

My surgery was a little over a month ago, for the last couple days my breast have been sore and tender. I was thinking that it because of "period" hormones but that shouldnt be for another 3 weeks. Is this normal?

If you kept your ovaries, you are still cycling. As to your cycle being out of whack, the shock of surgery can do that to your body. You may find out that your "period" hormones are on a new schedule.
