Painful ultrasound

I had my ultrasound yesterday. I can't believe how painful to have the scanner probe thing. She pressed down so hard, I kept telling her that that hurt. She would stay pressing for the longest time. This scan is to just make sure that the hematoma is gone. I guess she forgot that I have surgery and thing were sore. Today I seem more swollen in my stomach.

When it was time for the vag scan I thought I would die. She keeps on telling me to scoot down, I said my back half is off the table...she says fine. I am in pain the whole time since the table is digging into my back. I guess as long as the tech is comfortable, that is all that matters. Then she is pulling up the scanner while inside, trying to look for my left ovary...she then says, well I saw it on the top scan. After I say ouch! W12 weekhen I got home, I had some pink discharge. I have not had that since right after my surgery.

I am going to call my Dr. since I still have discharge 7 days after the silver nitrate treatment. 12 weeks today for my surgery.

I'm so sorry you went through that! I thought I'd have to have it at one point but was so relieved not to. I don't know if all those procedures are painful.

It's good you're checking with your doctor about the discharge, if only to put your mind at rest. I hope everything settles down for you, real soon. Take care!

Painful ultrasound

I talked with my Dr's. assistant, she said to make another appointment, so May 1st I go back again. I told her about the pinkish discharge, which I did not have until the wicked ultrasound.

I think that the tech pushed too hard. I could feel the cuff go the other direction, like it was over extended. Looks like I'll need another box of liners
