Hysterectomy: November 5th, 2013

Surgery Type: LAVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Menstral cramps

So I am 5 weeks (almost) post op and having Menstral symptoms? Cramps, migraine. Increased abdominal discomfort.
Anyone else get this around the time they would be getting their period?

If you kept your ovaries and you experienced PMS pre op, you'll likely experience it post op, but I would give your doctor a call. Explain the cramping and see what s/he says. You don't want to assume anything and its better to be safe.
