Emotional

I am having a hard time dealing with my emotions. I try to share them but feel as though nobody understands them.

I am 32 years of age, married and I have blessed with 3 children. A 12 & 10 year old from a previous marriage and 7 year old from my current marriage.

I have dealt with uterine/feminine issues as far back as I can remember. After each child a new or worsened problem occurred. But hey, I wasn't suppose to have any of them. So I am truly blessed.

I am dealing with so many mixed emotions. Happy to have it done and have some sort of normalcy without constant pain in my life. But scared to have it done because I think my husband secretly wants another child (even though doctors have told us that its not a good idea). I am mad that this is happening to me and nobody else around me is dealing with this. I am the only one in my family and within my friends to have such or so many problems.

I haven't slept in weeks because of the surgery being scheduled. I haven't had energy because of not sleeping to take care of anything but the kids bare essentials (feeding, bathing etc). I use to have a spotless house round the clock but no more. And it is so overwhelming now that I don't know where to begin. I feel like since this surgery has been scheduled that my life has went to total chaos and disorganization.

Thank you all for reading! So glad I found somewhere to post my feelings and read others posts to know I am not crazy.

Re: Emotional

I know this is easy for me to say but I know exactly how you feel! I had my hysterectomy sept. of 2009. I felt the same way you do now. But a few months afterwards I was so glad I had done it, I feel alot better, still on the mend, but so much better than i did before and emotionally I am getting better by the day! So glad you found this site so you know you arent alone. Good luck

Re: Emotional

I felt the same way when I was at your stage. I've now had most of my questions answerd which seemed to give me some sort of peace. Felt much better after pre op. I've been cleaning and working around the house like a mad woman this last week. I think once you get closer and your under the gun to get things done, for before you get home things will all come together for you. Id like to tell you to try and relax but I know thats not possible so just keep checking with the hystersisters and know your not alone.
