Hysterversary

Today makes a year since I had my surgery and I'm feeling good and my body been doing find since I had my surgery. I can't believe it's been a year already since I had my surgery. The only down fall is I can't have anymore kids but I am happy with the two kids I have. I was wondering after you have a hysterectomy do you have to get a check-up every year???

Re: Hysterversary

Wonderful recovery!
I would definitely recommend annual check-ups. I had my surgery a month ago and at my follow-up appointment my doctor has scheduled my annual check up.
I'm looking forward to a healthy recovery!

Re: Hysterversary

Congrats, rissa1988!!! I'm glad you are well and wish you continued health!

I don't have plans to see my surgeon again. She said to come back only if there are problems. Now I'm wondering if that okay...

Can you see your incisions? My surgeon was in June, but the incisions are still reddish and slightly painful if you press down. Doesn't really bother me but I hope they completely heal soon.
