pre-op seven days and counting

It's January 17, 2005 and I will have my surgery in one week on the 24th. Today is also my one year wedding anniversary. My Dh is so very supporting about all of this, it makes me thank GOD every time I look at him. Two weeks after we were married, he made be go to the gyno because the first time we had intercourse I bled severely (our wedding night) and each time after that. He has been understanding and patient. As a result from a incident with my ex we found out my cervix had been ripped and severely damaged and would not heal, I had two leep procdures and then had almost all of my cervix removed with a cone biospy. To no avail the bleeding continued. Then the Dr. discovered the severe dysplasia cin III, when he suggested that to get a clean bill of health and to make me and my DH to have a normal romantic relationship to have the hysterectomy (because the dysplasia was rapidly traveling upward)I freaked out!!! The rage I had and have for my ex is more than I can explain, I wish I could to the same procedure on him!!!!!I saw him to day's ago at the local market, and I made myself stay in the car, Because I wanted to scream at the top of my lung's at him and to the world just what he had done to me. How normal is that? I just want this over so I can move on , help!!!!! Little Trish

Hi Trish,

A big hug to you for what you have been through!

You did the right thing by staying in the car, shouting would have made him feel like the winner. WELL DONE!
Telling the world what he did may not make you feel any better, but you can always PM me if you need to chat.

Well im five weeks post op and feeling fairly good. You are in the waiting room, thats a hard place to be. Im sure you will be fine and I hope you will keep us posted on the post op board once you become a princess.

Good luck my friend.

((( Little Trish )))

I don't blame you for being angry but I agree that you did right by not confronting your ex. It sounds like you have a real winner this time.

I'm sorry that you've had so many problems. I'll be praying for a successful surgery with a smooth recovery.

Best wishes.
