Robotic myo schedule for 8/12:EXPERIENCE WANTED :)

Hi ladies!!
I am SO excited to say that I have officially been scheduled for a DaVinci robotic myomectomy on August 12th at 730am!
I have a 10cm intramural fibroid that I am SO glad to be getting rid of! When my Dr did my U/S and diagnosed me with it, she said, "That thing is so big we should name it!" My fibroid has since been dubbed Phyllis
I don't know many people who are so excited about surgery. I cannot WAIT to get my life back!!!
I would love to hear any and all stories from you that have had this procedure.
How big your fibroid was, the after-effects, how you've been since you've healed.....and of course if you had any successful pregnancies.
I've just turned 26 and my GYN is afraid I will lose most of my uterus so I'm a bit scared for my fertility. I am staying positive, though. THIS is what I need NOW.

When I was 19.5 weeks pregnant with my first DD I had an emergency surgery for suspected appendicitis- but was actually a pedunculated fibroid tumor 15cm (much bigger than my entire uterus at that time). Although I have had to have c-sections for my two pregnancies I have had no problem getting pregnant. I took depo-provera after delivering my 1st dd and got pg with twins- m/carried that pg. I had my 2nd dd via c-section 2 years later. I've had 2 more miscarriages but have been told that they are more because of antibody attacks(I have lupus) rather than issues with my uterus but I tend to think that the small fibroids and endo is my issue.

I would make sure that when you are ready to conceive that you work with your OB to test your hormone levels and do ultrasound to make sure that your uterus appears clear and that the lining is thick for implantation. Good luck!
