LAVH 3 weeks post hysterectomy: Spotting

I'm 3 weeks post surgery. I'm still spotting and wondering why the spotting is heavier at certain parts of the day - usually in the morning when I wake up. I'm also still having pains on my lower left and wondering if these could be like a phantom pain. All in all my surgery went pretty easy. My husband has been very supportive. My doctor is fantastic but she's working nights at the hospital this week and vacation next.

I just called my doctor about the same thing. I was told that this normal and to start worrying if the bleeding became heavy like a period. Freaked me out cause I've had no bleeding since the surgery. I figure this is my bodys way of telling me I'm not completely healed yet.

I was figuring it's my body's way of telling me I'm doing too much too soon! I need to learn to relax. 😕
