Feet Swelling???

Hi Guys! I had my TAH on 7-29 and I would say just within the past week I have been walking a little outside of the house. Went to the boardwalk for approx 45 minutes Friday night and walked around the shopping outlets last night for about the same amount of time.
I have noticed that those 2 nights and tonight my feet are swollen. Not my ankles but just the feet.
Anybody else have this problem or hear of it? Do I just keep my feet up. Is it the belly binder squeezing everything down to the lowest point?

I had some swelling in my feet and ankles after my TVH and like you, I would keep my feet up as much as possible. I made sure to talk to my doctor about it and I hope you will, too. I didn't use a binder. Please keep us updated!

I had real problems with swelling when I was only 1 month out. It took until about 5 months before I didn't have the problem.
I found I could only handle about 2 hours up until very recently.
Yesterday, my husband & I spent the day cleaning ( inside & out ) 2 of our vehicles. I actually didn't have swelly belly for the first time after major physical activity, of course my back wasn't happy.
It does get better.

My feet will sometimes swell when I've been walking or standing a little more than usual. I agree with Crossfire, tell your Doc, just in case there is a problem.
