Headaches!!

I had my lap. Davinci Hysterectomy on May 31. For the past 5 days I have had a headache. This would be my normal time for my period but I don't know if it is related or not. I'm sick and tired of my head hurting all the time. I've tried everything...caffine/no caffine, feeding a heachache, advil/tylenol. Everything I could think of. Has anyone out there had these problems??

Re: Headaches!!

Advil and Tylenol don't do squat for me. I like Alleve. A cold pack on your forehead can be enormously soothing. And be sure to drink LOTS of water - meds and stress are really dehydrating.

I used to have migraines (none since the surgery - fingers crossed!) and even when my periods were constant (like, three months long) I'd still get a thumpy head monthly, when my period SHOULD have occurred, had I been a normal person. Which made no sense, but there you go.

If it persists, I'd definitely go see a doctor. Headaches pretty much suck.
