emotional wreck today..4 days to go until and nothing is going right!!

I am an emotional wreck today!! 4 days to go and i don't have any health insurance and though my doctors are willing to work with me, the hospital is being a pain, telling me that this is an elective surgery procedure! My husband is getting to me over him needing to take a few days off, and everything is falling apart at the seams. Had a great day yesterday, today not so well. I have done nothing but cry today. I am praying, and have never lost faith, and my LAVH is my only option..but sometimes I wish those around me would understand a little better with what is to come for me....hugs!

Can you apply for medicaid or welfare medical? Sometimes they will grant it for emergencies. Also, see if hospital has a charity program. And get your dr's to advocate for you. They need to let the hospital know that this is essential surgery not just elective! Other than that I just have (((hugs))) and prayers for you that everything will work out. Good luck!

My husband wasn't thrilled about having to take 2 days off for me either. Men suck sometimes.

And I don't know why they say it's an elective surgery. I mean seriously? Like we would elect to keep these problems?? Morons.
