You have helped so much

I think I have made my decission. You have all helped. And I know where I can get more support when I need it. I Have adenomyosis and it may get worse. But I have no underlying problems now that the polps are out. 2 main issues keep bothering me. One is that after the polps and hysterscopy, he said I was in excellent shape and he released me in June. I do have a ovarian cyst that he doesn't discuss. the second is that the life-threatening bleeding was caused by the progesterone he gave to me. When I would call and say I was bleeding too much, his office would tell me that I was having a chemical D&C. I worry that it was too soon to the first surgical one. My blood dropped to a dangerous level but now that I am on estrogen, the bleeding is very light. I just want a couple of periods to know that I am doing the right thing. The next time I will know that I could bleed to death and not wait. I am a cervical orgasm girl and I am slow to part with it. My husband likes sex everyday and I can't imagine spending the next thirty years forcing myself to want it. I figure you can't put it back after it is gone. It will be a little embarrasing to call off the surgery at this late date, but last week when he scheduled it I was so anemic I couldn't remember my husband's birthdate.

Thanks again for all the support. Good luck to you all!!

You have helped so much

Hi Ka Ya,

It sounds as if you've really wrestled with this decision and you are so right to pull out if you aren't ready for it yet or feel the need to keep trying alternatives. It's your body!

I tried many alternatives before I went ahead too. I had adenomyosis, cysts and polyps and was very anemic also. I trialled progesterone and synnarel with the dose buliding and had a D&C, it took 4 months before it worked and that was a week before surgery.

Have you consider getting another opinion regarding the ovarian cyst? Also I thought most doctors used the progesterone to thin the lining of the uterus. Or that's what my gyn said. The progesterone was doing what it should for me with the lining but the bleeding and pain continued due to the adenomyosis.

You have to feel comfortable with the decision you make and I wish you all the best. You can PM me anytime you like.

Take care...........Karen

You have helped so much

I will be losing my cervix. I read that the nerves for orgasm are nowhere near the uterus. Isn't that true? I didn't know there was such a thing as cervical "O".
