Welcome Home!

I felt the same exact way..........and SO relieved to have the waiting behind me and be on the road to recovery! For me, the waiting was DEFINITELY the hardest part (so far!). First day or two after surgery isn't a picnic, but it's not the most awful thing I've ever been through either.

And I can honestly tell you, just 6 days post op, I feel WONDERFUL! I almost feel guilty about how good I feel this soon!

Take care of yourself, drink lots of water and get plenty of rest!

My TAH is scheduled for the 13th of November. I am getting more scared the closer it gets. I want to hug my kids because I think I'm gonna die. I just want it to be over and to wake up and start healing.

I hope you had the energy to throw a dirty sock at your daughter for making you laugh, lol.

Did you REALLY climb all those stairs or did you sleep downstairs?
I hope you didn't hurt yourself.
