Does heating pad reduce swelly belly?

I know that a heating pad can help reduce pain but does it reduce swelly belly at all? I don't have any pain, but I sure do have swelly belly!

It sure does mine..infact my Doctor suggested it. I put it on my belly for 2 hours if I need the swelling to go down. I do it the night before I go off anywhere, just so I don't have the swelly belly going on.

Ah, that good ol' swelly belly. Heating does do wonders, so does the swelly belly band (you put in ice water, it actually feels pretty good).

I had been experiencing some achiness during the past week. I returned to work on yesterday and my belly ached really bad, so I came home early. I did try the heating pad and it did help. I'll try using it nightly for awhile to see if it helps with the achiness.

Oh - I found ice gel packs to be so much better!

I like the ice gel packs too! I havent used any heat in while. Think I will experiment and see which one reduces the swelling the best!

I love my heat pad! LOL Even if it doesn't help the swelling, I enjoy having it on my belly each evening while watching tv!
